Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to operate ultrasound equipment and perform clinical exams according to standards. You will provide patient services and communicate with radiologists and staff. The role spans neonatal to geriatric patients.

The position requires completion of an approved diagnostic sonography program; ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility and BCLS certification are required; 1 year of experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved diagnostic sonography program.
• No experience required; 1 year preferred.
• ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible and BCLS certification required.
• Breast ultrasound licensure can be met with ARRT/ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provides patient services and care across neonatal to geriatric age groups.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
