Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, is seeking an ultrasound technologist specialized in OB/GYN to perform routine and targeted sonograms, fetal echocardiograms, and CW Doppler imaging. You will assist in Level II and transvaginal studies, and support perinatal diagnostics.

The ideal candidate has ARDMS OB/GYN certification within 1 year of hire or already certified, with about two years of OB/GYN ultrasonography experience and fetal imaging skills.

Qualifications

• ARDMS OB/GYN certification within 1 year of hire preferred.
• Two years' OB/GYN ultrasound, PW Doppler imaging and fetal echocardiography experience.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• 50% Performs routine OB/GYN sonograms including Level I, II, BPP, Transvaginal; reviews studies with Perinatologist.
• 20% Assist physician in fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures.
• 10% Assist in resident teaching in ultrasound.
• 5% Data entry of obstetrical ultrasound reports.
• 5% Performs Doppler Imaging and fetal echocardiograms.
• 5% Organizes activities to ensure conformity to policies and quality care standards.
• 5% Maintain and oversee satellite ultrasound machine on L&D.
