The Ultrasound Technician at American Oncology Network AON performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations at RKV Medical Center, ensuring image quality and patient safety. The role requires formal sonography training, ARDMS/ARRT certification, and adherence to HIPAA and clinical protocols.

Qualifications

Completion of basic training in ultrasound and graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Minimum 3–5 years clinical training or experience performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
Current certification in ARDMS or ARRT.
Travel: 0-25%.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered by a physician, following protocols and ensuring patient comfort.
Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment and perform routine quality checks.
Document procedures and patient information in the EMR; communicate with radiologists and clinicians.
Assist with scheduling and workflow coordination as needed.
Maintain licensure and compliance with regulatory standards.
