Qualifications

• ARDMS registry eligible; must meet ACR certification requirements with AB, OB/GYN, PS, or RVT.
• Strong ultrasound knowledge and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with protocols.
• Obtain and document relevant patient history and clinical information.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders prior to procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them for comfort and cooperation.
• Acquire and document diagnostic-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
