The role covers abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and related studies, with emphasis on accuracy, professionalism, and continuous education to uphold certification and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic or diagnostic medical sonography program with an Associate's degree or higher.
• One year certificate may be considered when combined with education and experience.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and ensure comfort throughout the exam.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high quality diagnostic images of internal organs and structures.
• Review images for quality and provide impressions to physicians as appropriate.
• Document examination data in EMR and PACS and maintain accurate patient records.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control and safety procedures.
