Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND, is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and collaborate with physicians and the care team. The role requires operating ultrasound equipment, maintaining professional standards, and supporting accreditation processes as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the health care team, training students as necessary, and adapting to facility-specific scopes which may include echocardiography. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging, Allied Health Certificate/Diploma or a minimum of one year equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Registration in RDMS, RVT, ARRT or registry eligible is required.
• NDMIRT licensure is required if working in North Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations in a professional and diagnostic manner.
• Operates the ultrasound machine and stays current with new technologies.
• Coordinate with physicians and health care team; assist during invasive procedures when applicable.
• Supervise and train students and medical sonographers as needed.
• Maintain ethical standards and rapport with patients and staff.
