Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent work experience.
• Registration in at least one area of sonography (RDMS, RVT, ARRT) or registry eligible.
• Registry within two years after hiring preferred.
• If working in North Dakota with imaging procedures, licensure through NDMIRT.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations in a professional and diagnostic manner.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and apply new technologies.
• Maintain ethical relationships with patients and staff.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team; assist during invasive procedures when needed.
• Supervise and train students and medical sonographers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and processes.
