Formación

• Associated degree or approved certification in ultrasonography or radiology.
• ARDMS or CCI certification within the first year of employment.
• Registration or registry-eligible in abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, or cardiac domains.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound imaging for all ages under physician supervision.
• Review orders for completeness and medical necessity; contact ordering physician if needed.
• Prepare patients, select appropriate protocols, and obtain high-quality images.
• Analyze images, provide preliminary findings to radiologist or cardiologist.
• Maintain aseptic technique and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist in training students and staff as assigned.

Educación

Associated Degree in Ultrasonography / Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiology

ARDMS/CCI certification within 1 year of employment
