Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic exams following provider orders and established protocols.

You will verify patient identity, position patients, optimize image quality, and document findings in EMR/PACS. You will explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort across all ages, with ARDMS/ARRT licensure preferred and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics and Doppler techniques.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate with patients across all ages.
• Professional interaction with staff and physicians.
• English literacy; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness and gathers history.
• Positions patients and optimizes transducer and factors to acquire images.
• Maintains documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Explains procedures ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
