Advantage Technical in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a Diagnostic Tool Evaluator for a temporary onsite role. You will test diagnostic scan tool software, perform UAT, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate hardware and Android tablet assets. Strong automotive diagnostics knowledge and QA experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive diagnostics and service technology.
• Background in software testing, QA, or UAT.
• Familiarity with Android devices and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to document findings and work with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform UAT for diagnostic scan tool releases and updates.
• Document test results and provide feedback to software teams.
• Support vehicle testing and validate tool functionality.
• Investigate and troubleshoot diagnostic tool issues.
• Track incidents using JIRA or similar systems.
• Coordinate software releases with engineering teams.
• Provide internal technical support for diagnostic software.
• Manage hardware assets, including loaner devices and returns.
• Configure and maintain Android tablets and related equipment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
