Job summary

System One is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist (X-Ray) in Pittsburgh, PA for day and night shifts, including weekends and on-call responsibilities. The role involves advanced Diagnostic Imaging, QA, and coordination with Radiologists.

Requirements include ARRT-approved education, MR registry within 18 months, CPR/BLS, and state Act clearances. Signing bonus and relocation assistance are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate from ARRT approved school.
• For a Diagnostic Advance level role, at least 2 years of Diagnostic experience is required.
• Must obtain MR registry within 18 months of hire.
• CPR or BLS required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal.
• Act 33 with renewal.
• Act 34 with renewal.
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists in QA, regulatory testing and other technical initiatives.
• Performs all responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I.
• Demonstrates competency with specialty equipment and analyzes data; may perform EKGs and phlebotomy if applicable.
• Monitors quality control activities and applies advanced diagnostic imaging knowledge.
• Assists with staff and student technologist training.
• Works independently, covers shifts, and communicates with leadership.
• Participates in system-wide standardization workgroups.
• Collaborates with Radiologists on protocol development.

Overview

Our client is an esteemed medical facility seeking a Diagnostic Technologist to demonstrate advanced level of knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care as defined by the most up-to-date protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs or assists the Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
• Performs all job responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I.
• Demonstrates competency of specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyzes data promptly. Performs electrocardiograms and lab draw functions if applicable.
• Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates advanced level of knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care as defined by the most up-to-date protocols and procedures.
• Assists with training of staff and student technologists.
• Demonstrates ability to function independently, cover shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team.
• Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.
• Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development.
