Job Title: Diagnostic Technologist (X-Ray)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15219
Type: Direct Hire
Shift: Day, night, weekends, and on-call responsibility

Responsibilities:
- Performs or assists Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
- Performs all job responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I.
- Demonstrates competency with specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyzes data promptly. Performs electrocardiograms and lab draw functions if applicable.
- Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care as defined by the most up-to-date protocols and procedures.
- Assists with the training of staff and student technologists.
- Demonstrates the ability to function independently, cover shifts, handle on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, while maintaining communication with the lead and management team.
- Participates in system-level standardization activities with workgroups.
- Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development.
Qualifications:
- A recent graduate from an ARRT-approved school.
- For an advanced level role, at least 2 years of diagnostic experience is required.
- Must obtain MR registry within 18 months of hire.
- CPR or BLS required, based on AHA standards, including both didactic and skills demonstration components within 30 days of hire.
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal.
- Act 33 with renewal.
- Act 34 with renewal.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
