Radiologic Technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and acquire and analyze data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Radiologic Technologists independently perform or assist the licensed practitioner in completing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. They prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policies.

Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required)
Certified Radiology Technologist within 24 months - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
