Job Summary

Sign-on bonus of $15,000 for eligible applicants! This position is unionized. We are seeking candidates for a CT Technologist I, with opportunities for advancement to CT Technologist II based on skills and experience. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply.

Under supervision of the Radiologist, performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnosis and treatment. Plans and executes all CT procedures and post-processing, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety guidelines, including dose monitoring and notification when preset levels are exceeded.

Job Duties
  1. Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
  2. Maintain knowledge of various CT systems across multiple locations.
  3. Follow protocols based on ImageGently Guidelines, monitor dose data, and ensure patient safety.
  4. Understand clinical histories and major organ systems to select appropriate protocols.
  5. Properly prepare and position patients, immobilize when necessary, and select correct technical factors.
  6. Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including specialized studies like TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
  7. Maintain pharmacology knowledge to ensure labs are obtained prior to exams.
  8. Adjust technical factors to enhance scan quality or speed.

Work is performed in a clinical environment. Compliance with organizational policies and procedures is required. Additional department-specific skills may be necessary.
