Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research-related imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. The role involves independently conducting radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, preparing and documenting medications and exposures, and assisting licensed practitioners as needed.

The ideal candidate will have completed a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and obtain ARRT-R

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• ARRT-R certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• New hires must complete steps for level advancement within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare colleagues.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the radiology department.
