Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging, ensuring proper patient identification, preparation, and safety per ALARA principles. Independent procedure execution and data handling are essential in a clinical setting.

The role involves collaboration with licensed practitioners, educator responsibilities, and support for outside Radiology procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Ability to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures independently.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, patient care, and technical imaging principles.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, verify patient identity, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access sites as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage or transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the Radiology Department.
