Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months; advancement to level 2 within 24 months for hires after a specified date.
• Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, patient safety, and radiation safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, ensure patient identification and preparation, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize technical settings, and adhere to ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access when prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
• Verify data storage and transfer, post-process images if necessary, and educate/monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures across settings, including operating rooms and ICU.
