Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging using ionizing radiation. The role includes maintaining patient safety, ensuring high-quality images, and assisting licensed practitioners in diverse care settings.

The ideal candidate will complete ARRT-R within six months, advance to level 2 within 24 months (if hired after the specified date), and possess specialty training in radiologic technology, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, verify patient identity and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety and image quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, documenting activities accurately.
• Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality, ensure data storage and transfer.
• Educate and supervise students and healthcare providers, assisting licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in varied settings, including operating rooms or ICU.
