Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and data accuracy. The role supports licensed practitioners and may involve fluoroscopic and specialized procedures outside the radiology department.

Ideal candidates graduate from a radiologic technology program, with ARRT-R certification within 6 months for new grads, and a plan to advance to level 2 within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R certification within 6 months.
• Applicants hired after a specified date must progress to level 2 within 24 months.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, medical terminology, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, proper exam preparation, and accurate clinical documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Apply appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning.
• Verify data transfer, post-process images, and support patient education and monitoring.
• Assist licensed practitioners during fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the Radiology Department.

Role Overview: Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. They independently execute or assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis by licensed practitioners.
