Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire; for new hires after a specified date, complete steps for level 2 advancement within 24 months.
• Ability to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures independently and in collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside radiologic settings.
