Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

This full‑time position involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis in a timely fashion, handling patients from pediatric to geriatric populations. The performing technologist follows physician instructions, prepares and operates equipment, and positions patients correctly to capture the requested images.

The shift is 4‑10 hour days, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with Tuesdays off, at Riley's Orthopedic Clinic.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification, required.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Active status as a Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). Board‑eligible candidates must obtain credential in Radiography within six months of hire.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist or current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
