Geisinger reserves the right to consider applicants for higher levels of this role to include X-ray Tech II based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Radiologic Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, acquire and analyze data needed for diagnosis, and assist or independently perform procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. They prepare, administer, and document medication and radiation exposure activities in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Graduate from Specialty Training Program – Radiologic Technology (Required). Bachelor's Degree – Related Field of Study (Preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience (Required).
