Job summary

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Radiology Program or have ARRT-recognized equivalents, obtain ARRT Radiography within 3 months and TDSHS Technologist certification within 6 months, and hold CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology Program or have equivalent education recognized by the ARRT to sit for the certification exam.
• ARRT in Radiography within 3 months of hire and TDSHS Medical Radiologic Technologist certification within 6 months.
• Possess a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification or obtain it during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Acquire high-quality diagnostic radiographic images across procedures.
• Perform quality radiographs and adapt procedures based on patient conditions.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history; ensure proper image labeling and documentation of exams.
