Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopic exams, prioritizing patient safety and image quality. The role supports ALARA principles and collaborates with licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, following imaging protocols, administering prescribed medications via vascular access, and educating staff and students within a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must obtain ARRT-R registry within six months; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to evaluate images, operate imaging equipment, and work in various clinical environments.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, medication administration, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and evaluate image quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the Radiology Department.
• Monitor and educate students and healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
