UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Overnight Radiologic Technologist to join a dedicated three-technologist overnight team in Diagnostic Radiology. The role supports Emergency Department and inpatient imaging with a permanent night schedule and no rotations, Thursday and Friday 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain image quality, use RIS/PACS, and ensure patient care and safety during overnight shifts.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program; degree within 90 days if pending.
Registered by ARRT or registry eligible with registration within one year.
BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
No prior radiology experience required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of General Diagnostic Radiology and adheres to departmental protocols.
Ensures correct patient/demographic data and exam requests; saves images and transmits to PACS.
Performs routine diagnostic radiology procedures and maintains image quality.
Maintains a clean, safe work environment and documents incidents for improvement.
Utilizes RIS, CIS, PACS and HIS to access information and document status.
Assesses patient conditions, ensures safety, and responds to emergencies as needed.
