IU Health in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist for a 1.0 FTE position with a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule, Monday through Friday. The role focuses on portable and ED imaging, with less procedural work than first shift.

Planned start dates for these positions are March 2027. Team members will complete orientation and training prior to the facility opening on May 1, 2027.

These rotations are designed to provide exposure to a wide variety of procedures and patient populations that may not currently be available in local Fort Wayne outpatient settings.
Most positions will participate in a rotating holiday schedule.

Job Duties, Tasks and Qualifications:
Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
