Job summary

Carle Health in Arizona seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under a Radiologist's direction. The role requires independent judgment to adapt procedures, ensure image quality, and maintain radiation safety and patient comfort during exams.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiography (R) required.
• BLS within 30 days required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) required.
• Certificate/Associate degrees in Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures to obtain accurate examinations.
• Exhibits competency and serves as staff resource for radiographic procedures.
• Selects appropriate views, enhances images with filters and positioning.
• Ensures patient comfort and applies radiation protection measures.
• Maintains equipment, room, and supplies; troubleshoots as needed.
• Performs lab testing as appropriate.
• Supports department operations and patient flow to ensure timely care.
