Job summary

Montclair Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory requirements. The role interfaces with patients to ensure imaging needs are met and contributes to quality control activities.

Required credentials include a CDPH CRT, fluoroscopy permit within 6 months, ARR T-R is preferred, and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Interfaces with customers to fulfill imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.

Education

Current CRT issued by CDPH

Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire

Venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire

ARRT-R is required

Familiarity with State and Federal regulations

BCLS certificate required upon hire

At least one year of Radiology Technologist experience

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Must have Current CRT issued by CDPH
• Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills

Pay Transparency

Montclair Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
