Qualifications

• Must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
• Applicants hired after 2024-03-10 must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality.
• Utilizes imaging protocol and optimizes factors while maximizing patient safety, applying ALARA principles.
• Preparing and/or administering medications through vascular access site as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Evaluates images for proper positioning and verifies archival storage and data transfer.
• Educating and monitoring students and other health care providers.
• Assisting licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures.
• Performing diagnostic radiographic and noninterpretive fluoroscopic procedures as prescribed, including in operating rooms, endoscopy, ICU, etc.
