Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential in Radiography within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Kansas Board of Healing Arts Radiologic Technologist license within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic images to help physicians diagnose accurately.
• Strictly manage radiation exposure and follow safety protocols for a zero-harm environment.
• Position patients precisely and select exact technical parameters for diagnostic accuracy.
• Verify data in the digital patient record and lead markers before submission to PACS.
• Monitor equipment performance and optimize protocols to keep the department ready for the next patient.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
