Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures according to established standards and protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain procedures, and obtain necessary patient information.
• Operate X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, C-arm, portable, and other applicable imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while utilizing appropriate radiation safety practices, including ALARA principles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and appropriate work environment.
• Follow established quality control procedures and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements related to radiologic imaging and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
• Assist with the orientation and training of new employees and students.
• Work collaboratively as a member of the Imaging Department and interdisciplinary healthcare team.
