Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs and imaging procedures in accordance with established parameters. You will assist Radiologists and ensure continuity of patient care.

New grads welcome; full-time with Day Shift and up to $10,000 sign-on bonus. Must have Iowa permit to practice and ARRT registration. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and delivering patient education across age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Valid Iowa permit to practice.
• Registered Technologist (Radiography) by ARRT.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse groups.
• Knowledge of CR, DR and PACS imaging.
• Commitment to customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Takes radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
• Prepares patient, room and equipment for procedure.
• Collects history data from patient and provides education.
• Provides patient care in accordance with department policy.
• Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation.
• Interacts positively with other departments, physicians and students.
• Adheres to safety, infection control and employee health policies.
