Job summary

MercyOne is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shift at MercyOne Northeast Iowa, Waterloo. You will perform diagnostic radiographs, prepare patients and equipment, and support radiologists with imaging procedures in a busy clinical setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, Iowa permit to practice, and ARRT registration. Expect a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• Valid Iowa permit to practice.
• Registered Technologist (Radiography) by ARRT.
• Knowledge of imaging techniques including CR/DR and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Take radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
• Prepare patient, room and equipment for procedures.
• Provide patient education and continuity of care.
• Provide radiologist with pertinent information for interpretation.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies.
• Interact professionally with staff, physicians and students.
