Job summary
MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs and imaging procedures, assisting Radiologists and ensuring continuity of patient care. New grads are welcome to apply; this full-time, day-shift role offers up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package focused on safety and patient-centered service. You will work with CR/DR and PACS systems and collaborate with diverse teams.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
Must have valid Iowa permit to practice.
Registered Technologist (Radiography) by ARRT.
Responsibilities
Take radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
Prepare patient, room and equipment for procedure.
Collect history data from patient and provide education.
Provide patient care in accordance with department policy.
Provide radiologist with pertinent information for interpretation.
Interact positively with other departments, physicians and students.
Adhere to safety, infection control and health policies.
