Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs and imaging procedures, assisting Radiologists and ensuring continuity of patient care. New grads are welcome to apply; this full-time, day-shift role offers up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package focused on safety and patient-centered service. You will work with CR/DR and PACS systems and collaborate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• Must have valid Iowa permit to practice.
• Registered Technologist (Radiography) by ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Take radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
• Prepare patient, room and equipment for procedure.
• Collect history data from patient and provide education.
• Provide patient care in accordance with department policy.
• Provide radiologist with pertinent information for interpretation.
• Interact positively with other departments, physicians and students.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and health policies.
