Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and CPR certification required.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions to determine room setup and required radiation; perform examinations.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents as required.
• Provide nursing care during and after examinations, including distress evaluation and calling codes if needed.
• Ensure radiation protection for patient, staff and self using protective devices and appropriate factors.
• Evaluate diagnostic films for quality; repeat unsuitable ones as needed.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Train employees and students in day-to-day procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
