Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging in clinical settings, ensuring high-quality data for physician interpretation.

The role requires a specialty radiologic technology program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and ARRT-R registry must be obtainable within 6 months for new grads. Opportunities to mentor students and collaborate with the healthcare team are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Ability to obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months for new graduates.
• For hires after a specified date, complete steps for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and follow ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning.
• Verify data storage, assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside of radiology settings.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.
