Job summary

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to support Imaging Service. The position provides high-quality diagnostic imaging across multiple clinical areas and collaborates with care teams to deliver timely results.

Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting digital radiography workflows with PACS. On-call and rotating schedules are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT (R) radiography certification.
• Advanced ARRT certification may be required for CT/MRI/Mammography duties.
• Educational requirement: 24-month post-high school radiologic technology program with JRCERT/DOE accreditation.
• U.S. citizenship status per VA policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging across clinical areas.
• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain imaging equipment and QA records.
• Coordinate with surgeons and care teams; participate in DR/PACS workflows.
• Assist with on-call coverage and rotating schedules as needed.
