Job summary

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist-MRI. The MRI technologist will function in Imaging Service, performing MRI procedures and ensuring patient safety and image quality in a busy VA facility.

Candidates should hold ARRT certification in radiography (and MRI/CT as applicable), meet VA education and licensure requirements, and demonstrate strong teamwork, patient care, and knowledge of imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• Required knowledge of radiologic principles, patient safety, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to operate MRI equipment and coordinate with radiologists.
• Strong teamwork and communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform MRI exams with attention to safety and quality.
• Position patients, monitor during scans, and administer contrast when required.
• Maintain records in RIS/PACS and ensure accurate image capture.
