Job summary

OSS Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic examinations and assist in related department functions. You will prepare patients, ensure safety, and operate imaging equipment with precision.

The role requires ARRT certification (or registry eligible with ARRT boards within 6 months), current BLS, and strong computer skills. Two years of experience is strongly preferred. Excellent communication and organization are essential in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required or registry eligible with ARRT boards within 6 months of start date.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must have proficient computer skills.
• Must be able to work independently and plan and organize work.
• Must have professional and effective communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Takes thorough and accurate patient medical histories and reviews and updates current visits.
• Correlates patient identification and clinical history with the examination.
• Uses radiation safety measures to comply with regulations and ensure safety.
• Reviews and evaluates images for diagnostic quality.
• Positions imaging equipment and adjusts exposure settings per examination.
• Maintains imaging equipment and records.
• Explains procedures and ensures patient safety and comfort during scans.
• Documents scan sequences and patient data in the system.
