Job summary

Ascension Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist at Seton Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX. You will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, position patients, choose exposure factors, and uphold radiation safety standards.

You will document history in the EHR and coordinate with the care team to support accurate diagnoses. You will administer contrast media per regulations and ensure timely image submission to PACS.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credentialed
• Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification required
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire (AA or Red Cross accepted)
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years’ cumulative experience OR Associate’s/Technical degree OR 4 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist physicians.
• Position patients accurately and select precise exposure factors for optimal image quality and radiation safety.
• Administer contrast media and medications per regulations.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety and document history in the EHR.
• Perform equipment quality control and submit digital images to PACS for streamlined workflows
