Job summary

Atlantic Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic x-ray imaging under the direction of a Radiologist. The role focuses on producing high-quality images, obtaining patient histories, and maintaining equipment and records.

Candidates should have formal radiography training, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. Experience level is 0-3 years, with preference for hospital system experience within a comprehensive health network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care of equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient queries.
• Maintains equipment, ensures safety, comfort of patients.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and monitors need for revisions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School

NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
