Rush University Medical Center in Chicago seeks a Patient Coordinator to greet patients, assist with check-in, and coordinate outpatient scheduling across Radiology. The role focuses on minimizing wait times from order to exam completion and ensuring accurate registration and imaging workflow.
You will support daily operations, enter and verify patient data, obtain HIPAA signatures, and help train new staff while aligning with Rush’s quality and customer service goals.

Pay Range: $16.48 - $25.96 per hour

This role will provide patient greeting and/or reception functions for the various areas across the Diagnostic Services areas. This role will also manage the scheduling of inpatients in a manner that minimizes the time between order placement and exam completion, import and catalogue external images into the PACS system and provide daily reports relevant to operations. As a Patient Coordinator, understands and integrates into the delivery of patient care in regards to their growth and development process. The position actively supports the Hospital’s and Department’s Continuous Quality Improvement and customer service goals, individually and as an effective team member. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and ICARE values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures
