Cleveland Clinic Nevada is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II, PRN, to perform diverse ultrasound studies across adult and pediatric patients in Las Vegas. You will work with a collaborative imaging team, maintain image quality, and participate in patient education and scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and in good standing.
• Two years of recent modality experience in sonography.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross; Pediatric Sonography certification preferred.
• RDMS certification within one year of hire; OB/GYN RDMS/ARDMS or equivalent required.
• Maternal Fetal Medicine training; Vascular/Abdominal/Ob/GYN RDC certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform diagnostic sonographic imaging for adults and pediatric patients.
• Obtain, archive, transmit and print images via PACS; ensure image quality.
• Consult with physicians regarding patient history and exam requirements.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment.
• Schedule and manage ultrasound appointments; monitor daily workflow.
• Maintain equipment function and report malfunctions.
• Assist with clinical instruction of ultrasound students and residents.
