Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Clinic - PRN

Join Sanford Health as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Clinic - PRN at our Sioux Falls, SD facility located at 2601 S Ellis Rd. We are seeking dedicated professionals to perform ultrasounds in a diagnostic manner, utilizing cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing a variety of ultrasound examinations.
2. Maintaining ethical working relationships and rapport with patients and staff.
3. Understanding and operating ultrasound equipment, including new technologies.
4. Supporting accreditation processes and understanding age-related testing protocols.
5. Coordinating with physicians and healthcare team members, including assisting during invasive procedures.
6. Supervising and training students and medical sonographers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program, Allied Health Certificate/Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
• Registration in at least one of the following: RDMS, RVT, ARRT, or eligible for registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment.
