Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Active ARDMS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per department protocol (abdominal, gynecologic, obstetric, vascular, neonatal brain, small parts, and other procedures).
• Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, document findings, and prepare written records.
• Educate and train radiology residents in ultrasound techniques.
• Maintain patient safety, aseptic technique, and universal precautions.
• Complete Meditech entries and requisition/film correlations accurately.
