Job summary

Hancock County Health System in Britt, IA is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide ultrasound services per provider orders in the hospital. You will assist in scheduling and complete Ultrasound/Vascular procedures and coordinate with radiologists and interpreting physicians.

The role requires ARDMS registration and Iowa credentials, with certifications in Abdomen, OB, Breast and Vascular or willingness to pursue them. Full or part-time hours are available, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Must hold certifications in Abdomen, OB, Breast and Vascular or willing to seek needed certifications.
• Certifications and Permits to Practice in Iowa must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide ultrasound services per provider order in the hospital.
• Assist in scheduling and complete Ultrasound/Vascular procedures as described in policy and procedure manual.
• Assist in coordination of procedures with the radiologist and interpreting physicians.
