Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or an equivalent combination of training and experience eligible for ARDMS registration.
• License/Certifications: Current ARDMS certification or full registration in at least one specialty area, according to departmental/local requirements. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Six months of Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
