Haug Implement Co. in Willmar is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform diagnostics on engines and systems, conduct preventative service inspections, and carry out repairs.

The role requires familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, vehicle operation, and diagnostic tools. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, documenting work orders, and maintaining a professional workspace while following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience or technical college degree or certification preferred.
• Experience with repair, service, and maintenance following technical manual procedures.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Experience with basic computer functions.
• Experience using Service ADVISOR or other computer-based diagnostic tools preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostics on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other components anddetermineswhat repairs are needed
  

• Performs preventative service inspections

• Loads and unloads equipment as needed
  
• Provides complete and thorough work order documentation on diagnostics and repairs performed, parts used, and time worked

• Reports to work on time, manages time effectively, and works well independently and in groups

• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
  

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• One or more years’ experience or technical college degree or certification preferred

The actual starting pay offer will account for our overall wage and benefit package, applicant experience, training, skill,and internal equity among our existing employees. This is an hourly position with a potential hiring offer range of $22.00-35.00per hour, based on factors listed
above.
