Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Diagnostic Mammography Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging team in Charlotte, NC. Enjoy a weekday-only, full-time schedule with 5x8 or 4x10 shifts and sign-on bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities include performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, assisting with biopsies and aspirates under physician guidance, and collaborating with physicians to support patient care. ARRT radiography and mammography certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M).
• Applicable state license where required.

Novant Health Breast Center - Lillington | Location: Charlotte, NC | Full-Time (5x8 or 4x10, weekdays only)

This role is sign-on bonus eligible.

What You'll Do

The Diagnostic Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammograms to evaluate abnormal findings and assist in the diagnosis of breast conditions, and assists with invasive procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations, under the guidance of a physician .

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Desire to continue education in diagnostic mammography
• Desire to continue education in breast sonography
