Job summary

Novant Health's Outpatient Imaging team in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Mammography Technologist to deliver compassionate, high-quality imaging in a patient-focused setting. You’ll work with experienced technologists, radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate results and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include operating mammography equipment, preparing patients, and adapting procedures to patient age-related needs.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED; ARRT-approved Radiography program required.
• 2-year/Associate degree preferred.
• Certified and registered ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M).
• State license required.
• One year of mammography experience preferred.

Facility: NHI Julian Road (Outpatient Imaging) | Location: Salisbury, NC | PRN

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
• Experience: One year of experience in mammography, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M), required. Certified and registered by ARRT in Bone Densitometry – RT(R)(M)(BD), preferred. Applicable state license, required.
• Additional skills required: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates Mammography equipment.
